I'm still thinking of upgrading my Mac G4 to a new floor model, and what I really need is a way to connect an old EPSON 836XL EXPRESSION scanner to the new MacPro PCIexpress slots. Or to the MacPro anywhere.

It runs on SCSI connection, and my Mac G4 has PCI slots with a simple and cheap PCI SCSI card. But I can't find any cheap (under $200) SCSI cards for PCIexpress. All SCSI cards are for RAID devices and cost $500+. I have tried one of the cheapo-new SCSI-t-USB connectors and that was a bust.

Anyone else solve this problem? Any hope? Any suggestions? I tried searching the forums, and I have contacted EPSON but no reply yet.
