Looking for a scanner to take excellent quality large size scans to go with my MacBook Pro.

I've been using a CanonScan LiDE 200 for a few years. It's a bit old, but it works remarkably well with the latest version of OSX. USB powered and works with the native image capture app, with lots of options regarding resolution, size and file output.

I would look for the newest model of the series.
