Scanning issue with HP 1212 all-in-one on iMac

Does anyone if I need to do anything special to scan using the HP 1212 all-in-one printer/scanner on an iMac? On a Windows PC, all i have to do is press the Scan button on the scanner itself and it works. On the iMac nothing happens when I press it!
It prints ok but wont scan??

Any advice appreciated.

Use Image Capture. It should be in your applications folder.
