Scanning Software & Hardware? (also Slides)

Hello All,

Currently using ImageCapture and have tried VueScan to scan old color photographs on my Samsung SCX-4200 MFP.

The results aren't great.

Does anyone have recommendations on better software & hardware?

I'd prefer better software, as that's cheaper. But if I need to get a better scanner please let me know your rec's.

Also, do you have any rec's. on slide scanners?
