Scanning Transparencies

Hello,

Ive been asked to scan some old transparencies for my gran.
I was originally told they were slides so i ordered a slide scanner but after getting them today i realize otherwise and the scanner i just bought doesnt support them

So ive come to you guys for answers, this will be a limited function for me so i dont want to spend loads, but whats my best options for getting these scanned in?

I have about 3 carousels of 36 pics each to get through....

Your best bet might be to just look in to a service like ScanCafe.com. Film scanners can be very expensive and if you are just doing a short run an online service might be the cheapest.
