Just got my new dual 2 core refurb white imac from apple. Only thing on it I downloaded is divx and firefox and the music/photos I uploaded to it. Should it be safe to just do the upgrade option? Doesn't make since to have a new os and have to restart it all and the lose Ilife, etc...
But don't what the GSOD and such.

Of course it's safe. if you don't have much on it, back it up and do an Erase and Install.

Loose the divx stuff, I read that it does not play nice with 10.5.
