I would like to know if there's a scheduler app that will allow me to play a specific song at a pre-determined time on my iPhone. The closest I have come thus far is to use the Alarm on the iPhone and set a custom ringtone for the Alarm. However, a ringtone cannot be as big as the song itself. Hence, I am interested to know if there's a scheduler app that would play a full song on the iPhone.

Apps can't access the iTunes library and cannot run in the background. In order to achieve this the app would have to be open all the time (i.e. never exit out of it) and the song would have to be part of the app itself.

There might be a jailbroken app that can do this though with Backgrounder.

I checked a couple of other sites. No luck yet. Just curious -- Is there a command-line utility that can invoke iTunes and play a song?
