I'm just about to make the jump from the Android darkside to iPhone and have a question about profiles.

On Android there are a few very good apps that allow you to have different scheduled profiles and these automatically change at set times without any need to intervene by manually changing any settings.

I've been told that that this isn't possible on the iPhone due to IOS but I was wondering if anything like what I've described is available once a handset is jailbroken.

What I'm most interested in is for the phone to be able to switch from sound to silent and back again at set times (e.g. on silent at night). Also to automatically turn on, and off, mobile data at set times too.

Apologies if this has been asked many times but I wanted to get my first post on here :)

Well once you are Jailbroken, theirs tons to learn. Theirs are tweaks( things from cydia that edit the way you use the device in a better way) that can do that like SBprofiles or a settings tab that can be place on your homescreen like this:

Any more QS

Excellent! :D

SBProfiles seems to be exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the info.

Can't wait to get my first iPhone now
