Hi all,

Wondering if anyone knows a reputable online source for older Mac board views. Having a heck of a time finding schematics and board views of my logic board, and it's ANCIENT. The silkscreen on it reads 2006, and the computer is not even supported by Apple anymore. These designs being publicly available would be no threat to Apple's patents or anything, so I'm hoping by now Apple has released these designs, and they are out there on a trustworthy public domain resource somewhere.

Does anyone have any recommendations for resources like this? I'm working on restoring a mid-2007 Mac mini and need some information on component specs. I know of Rossmann group, but they also charge $29 a month for their forum, and this whole computer isn't even worth $29. Lol.

Thanks

Ummm, outside of the bounds of time? Lol. JK. I think those Macs were super cool! Esp the 12" G4 PowerBook. I used to want one of those so bad!!

But yeah, is this lack of technical resources a common barrier to owners of older Macs?

Yeah, unfortunately it is. Apple tends to guard stuff like this.

@dosdude1 does have a business repairing failed GPUs on the LB though. Perhaps he might know where you can find something like that.
