Hi all.

I am working on an assignment for school and am having trouble with how to do one part:

It says I need to link a spreadsheet to a database so that when I change the spreadsheet, the database also changes.

I have found FileMaker PRO 5.5 Trial which is one of the few versions which actually works with Excel 2004's import feature.

I need to know if this is possible:
In the same way that I can import a FileMaker PRO file into and Excel spreadsheet and have it "update" the contents of the cells whenever my FileMaker document changes, can I do the opposite?

So when the Excel file changes, so does the information in the FileMaker document?

If this isn't possible, is there any kind of database that will work with Excel, other than Access?

Thanks :)

Thanks heaps!
I have another question though…
When viewing my database in table view, one of my fields is missing!
In the "Define Fields" Dialogue, there are nine fields, but in my table there is only eight.
Is there any way to get it back?
