Well, this may just be the turning point of the case. Apparently SCO themselves have distributed the 2.4 kernel with the pffending source code under the GPL. This could indeed be a Very Good Thing.

I thought the RIAA was sue happy, but SCO seems to take the cake!

I really seems like the death throws of the company. I wouldn't be suprised to see a SCO less world real soon.

Of course SCO is on a lawsuit spree. They are the last remaining reminent of Microsoft's work into Unix.

There are some people in the slashdot world that think that SCO is a puppet for Microsoft. They say that Microsoft is trying to destroy linux without directly taking fire from the SEC or the EU.

Well SCO is an off shute of Microsoft's Postix UNIX system. Of course its the basis for most Unix Buids. It would figure, that they would try to kill Unix and Linux so they can release a version of Windows based on Unix.
