ScoreCenter App not playing sounds on alerts

On my 4s the ScoreCenter app would make the classic ESPN "da da da, da da da" sound when I got an alert. On my 5, it won't make the sound, even though the "Sounds" option is turned on in my phone settings. Any ideas? All other alert noises seem to be working.

EDIT:
Twitter doesn't make the "Tweet" sound when I send a tweet, even though that setting is also turned on.

EDIT:
Of course the very next ScoreCenter alert plays the sound, but Twitter sound still doesn't work.
