I'm curious to know if anyone has tried out the new SCOSCHE MagSafe Car MagicMount?

I actually just dropped the windshield/dash version off at UPS to return to Amazon today and only received it this morning.

The windshield/dash version that I got did cut down on the bounce/shaking when hitting bumps, but the magsafe puck itself is not the strongest hold. Especially with the 12 Pro Max, which I have. If you have a smaller phone it may work out better for you. Also the "finder" magnet, or whatever it's called (the extra little magnet below the circle is completely useless on this mount. My phone was spinning in circles without even a hesitation when passing over it.

Overall I just wasn't happy with the mount, the phone didn't fall in the short drive i took with it on it's own, but the second I touched the top or bottom of the phone, away from the magsafe circle, it tilted off the mount.

My quest to find the "perfect" mount continues, lol. I have the Belkin mount and when you get a good fit on the vent it's great and doesn't move or shake. Only problem is, in the summer it completely blocks the vent you are using and I can't get that cool a/c air from that vent. I also have the ESR windshield/dash mount on my windshield currently and I actually really like it. It holds pretty well, but with the extension arm, it does tend to shake and bounce when you drive over anything but the smoothest pavement. So unless I find something else, I plan to use the ESR during the summer when I need the a/c vent and then use the Belkin in the winter and just close that vent, because I don't usually use those vents when I turn the heat on.

Thanks for the helpful feedback. I am currently using a standard swivel magnetic vent mount with the standard MagSafe charger stuck to it. In general, it works pretty well, but it does block a good portion of the vent, and unfortunately, the phone has taken a couple of falls going over big bumps. I am also looking for the "perfect" mount, but my options are slim since I want a completely wireless solution as I also have a wireless CarPlay dongle.

I just got this mount. It's ok, but not worth the premium price over similar MagSafe holders that cost half as much. I'll keep it, but I'm bummed I paid $35 for it.

I agree with @og3og above. The bottom alignment magnet on this thing is so weak as to be basically non-existant. It may as well not even be there.
