EA decided to put some pretty big titles on sale.

Here are the games on sale for $0.99:

  • Scrabble
  • Madden NFL 2011
  • Dead Space
  • Command and Conquer
  • FIFA 11
  • RISK
  • Reckless Racing
  • Rock Band reloaded ($2.99)

Here is the full List

no prob...it's a pretty phenomenal deal. i was really surprised when i saw it.

i got scrabble for the full price a while ago but it's one of those games that you never stop playing. I'll get the other ones now that they are only a buck, really can't go wrong with that price.

Command and conquer seems like a great deal, but the reviews pretty much universally say that the game is garbage..any differing opinions?

The iphone sale is slightly more extensive....same games though + NBA Jam, Tiger Woods, etc. I was really hoping both of those would drop too for the ipad but looks like I'll have to wait it out.

I bought all the other games that went on sale for the ipad though.

I hate had scrabble forces you to use your Facebook information.
From reading the reviews it does not fair well. It seems there are not enough players to have a random game either. I love Words with Friends which probably killed Scrabble on the iOS devices.

How is Risk???

I keep hearing bad things about scrabble. I think i'd rather play words with friends.

And why no Mirror's edge?? Grr

I think at 99 cents its a no-brainer. I bought the iPhone version of Scrabble, it's OK...guess I'll pick up "HD" for iPad now.

Words with Friends always gets pretty bad reviews...

A lot of bad reviews for Words with Friends and Scrabble seem to come from people who think the dictionary is only as big as they want it to be. This is especially true with Scrabble's CPU opponent.

I was hesitating about buying dead space for £5.99 ($9.99) luckily I held out and stumbled on the 90% discount today! I would have been so pissed off if I bought it yesterday :p

i grabbed dead space and risk earlier today. i wish scrabble had better reviews and that tetris was .99

This is why I can never buy EA games for full price. They ALWAYS have blow out sales like this. I wish rock band would of been lowered to a dollar. I've been waiting for that to go on sale for a while. I might just cave and pick it up for this new price.

How does dead space play on the original ipad? Is it worth it even if I don't have ipad 2?

Thanks, grabbed Risk! I can't believe Monopoly is still $10, though. I guess people must pay that, but it's not like it's a terribly complex game requiring advanced AI or anything.

I might grab Scrabble, too - seems like it would be a good travel game with my husband.

Thanks for the heads up.

I got Madden on Friday. My son likes it.

I got Scrabble a while ago. I really like it (I only play against my wife and the CPU, however, so not sure about Facebook/Multiplayer).

Might try Dead Space. Looks good and I guess you can't really go wrong for $1. If it sucks, you just toss it.
