Scrap X Scrapbook File changes not allowed

I recently migrated from OS X 10.4 to Snow Panther and I discovered that my very handy third party Scrap X (1.3.5.1) application won't allow me to make any changes in its Scrapbook file folder. I keep getting the message:'The document Scrapbook File could not be saved' I highlighted the file itself (found within the Scrapbook folder under Applications) and by clicking 'Get Info' allowed me to unlock it and to make the option 'read and write' permission. Still no success. Does anyone have any clue about how I can modify the file and save it? Not sure it's related to the OS upgrade (migration) but I did not have this problem previously.
