Scrapbooking

Hello guys

I guess what I'm after is some scrapbooking software. I think all I want to do is combine some photos with text, perhaps with textured backgrounds, then save to a PDF.

Has anyone done anything similar? What would you recommend? I am happy to pay for good software, or am I better off just using Pages?

iScrapbook and MyMemories Suite look very promising.
