Scratch on IPhone

Ive noticed today that Ive got a scratch on my IPhone its about 3cm long and kinda goes in a curve shape. I not dropped my phone and have been really careful with it so I really dont know how its happened.

Im really upset about it only got my phone at the end of august and have a 2 year contract so really dont want to have a scratched phone for this long.

Is there anything I can do about it?

You have a few options:

1. Pay Apple around $200 and have the screen replaced
2. Buy a screen protector. It makes the scratch less noticeable
3. Buy a new iPhone
4. Try a scratch remover product and see if that works.

and probably also avoid your warranty. 3rd party solution is often cheaper but you have to be aware about the warranty

Is the scratch even on the screen? If it's on the body, you can get a case for it to cover the scratch. There are some pretty thin ones you can use that don't add much bulk at all.

If he damaged his screen then the warranty is voided regardless.

Sorry, but no. A 3cm scratch on your screen will not void your warranty.
