Scratch on my (still in warrenty and Apple care) iMac 21 2011 :(

Hey!
I was just on my iMac and I have noticed a scratch under an inch big on the screen glass.
Do you think AppleCare will cover it?
Or will this be a job for my self to do?
I can do it my self. The panels are only like 60-70 pounds, but just incase...

Did you put it in your pocket with your car keys?

The glass is held on by magnets. It's not hard to take off.

Haha... I used to take it on short holidays with me because my old MB was failing. (Sounds crazy, but it was needed, believe me...)
How easy is it to put back on?

The tricky thing about taking on and off the glass is actually ensuring that there is no visible dust or hair statically stuck on the panel or the glass after it seals up. Usually you accomplish this through a series of cleaning with a lint free cloth, and a bottle of compressed air.

And no, Applecare will not cover it. Applecare is for manufacturing defects, not accidents.
