Scratch or Marks?

Is there a way to get rid of these black/dark markings? I’ve tried using a damp cloth and it’s not going away. I don’t think it’s scratches because I don’t feel anything when I put my finger on it.

Using a damp cloth with tap water will leave marks behind and a wash cloth or similar will not work well.

You need a micro fiber cloth. Purified water or cleaning solution. Spray on the cloth then wipe down the Mac. Just a little liquid is needed.

To me it looks like you either used a cloth that wasn't clean or regular tap water??
