Scratched DVDs

Is there anyway to fix, or at least recover the data from a scratched disc? I have the Ronny John's Half Hour, Season One. Episode 6 and 7 aren't working.

If the scratches are not too deep, then they can be polished out using a soft cloth and metal polish like Brasso. I've rescued a few CDs and DVDs over the years this way. Always polish from centre of the disk to the edge, not round and round.

Depends on whether the handkerchief has been used or not....

If you have access to another optical drive, you could try that; Some drives are more tolerant of scratches than others.
