Scratched Macbook screen

Hi all,

My girlfriend thought it'd be a good idea to carry a binded notepad in her closed notepad, and now has a scratch right in the middle of the screen

Is there anything at all I can do to try and fix this? Or is she pretty much screwed?

if you're mr handyman you could replace it? otherwise ... I guess there's not much to do

Thanks, tempting, but it's probably not quite bad enough to justify an entire new screen, it's very fine and an around an inch long btw.

You would need to replace the screen.

Ah, that sucks, but thank you - it was a long shot, but I wasn't sure if something like car polish may help to get the scratches out... guess not!
