I just found out a visible scratch or crack(not hairline) running down the middle of the back camera glass. It does not have any negative effects on the pictures taken but its just annoying to have and I'm concerned it will get big or worse over time. Is it enough to warrant a replacement at an Apple store?

Show them the cosmetic damage at a Genius Bar appointment. If it looks like it may start to compromise the quality of the camera, they'll swap it out.
i wouldnt call a scratch over the camera cosmetic
but it is a user induced defect which the warranty wont apply to
