Hi,

Just discovered a scratch (I think) on my 15" MBP; it's hi-res anti-glare. Now every time I use the laptop my eyes instantly land on this tiny scratch.

Any solutions to this? This is my first screen to get scratched. I can't live with it! I'm actually thinking of selling the damn thing.

On an old thinkpad a cluster of dead pixels developed just off centre of the screen. They were light grey and showed up whenever there was white. Eventually I just got used to them.

As far as I can see, you can either get used to it, go insane, or shell out $$$ for a new screen. :D

Stupid question but have you tried cleaning it? or using your fingernail to scrape it off? Kinda looks like dirt

It won't scrape off. Seems to be a scratch :(

Or just get rid of it. Some people don't mind such a tiny scratch. It's only visible with light color or white background.

Could it be dust under the glass?

I had this a few times on my 2008 MBP and they replaced the screen for free.
