iPod Scratched the screen of my Ipod! Aargh can I replace the plastic?

Took my 30G Ipod video out of my drawer today and accidentally scratched the plastic on the top left of the screen! AAArgh! its a pretty deep scratch, screen underneath is still fine!

Can the front plastic and clear plastic covering the screen be replaced??

it can be, but depending on how bad the scratch is it may not be worth it, but if you decide to do it anyway, get a new fromt pannel from somwhere and follow these instructions.

Yeah, you can do that, it's relatively easy. Luckily it's the front because the back metal is harder to replace.

Search around the internet or ebay for ipod faceplates, you should be able to find something.

Depending on how deep it really it is you might be able to polish it out. I once read that Brasso is an excellent iPod polish (but that may be the back only).
