These sudden scratches just appeard on my mbp. i dont know if there scratches on the surface on the screen or hairs behind the screen. these scratches poped up in a matter of minutes. does anyone know of a polish that might fix these scratches?

i scratched my glasses the other day, and lenscrafter said they couldnt polish or fill in the scratches. i have a feeling its the same with your MBP. anything to cover it would distort the picture, imo.
 
Do you have a black, short-haired cat? Seriously. Those pics are pretty blurry so it's impossible to tell what is making the lines but it looks an awful lot like blurry cat hair. :)

As for applecare, it's a warranty, not an insurance policy. It doesn't cover accidental damage.

you beat me to it lol since cats love macs remember:D
 
That's a drag. But as mentioned, Applecare is a warranty. My refurb MBP arrived with a slight bulge on the small metal strip above the display latch. Apple told me it's a cosmetic issue and they wouldn't fix it. Granted, it's a refurb, but I hope they wouldn't say that had it been a new machine.
