I've been worried about getting scratches on the back of my new iPad before I even got it and came up with an idea that seems to be working okay.

I went to Walmart and bought a package of felt dots. I put one 3/8" inch dot about 1" in on each corner on the back. This has helped when I have my smart cover on set it on the table. I tend to slid the ipad a bit when I pick it up and since it is now resting on the felt dots it doesn't scratch and makes it easier to pick up since the dots raise it up about 1/16". When I have the cover off I notice they even help me hang on the it.

Anyway, I thought I pass this on.

Nice tip! I hate setting the iPad down on any surface because it scratches so easily. I've been setting it down face down, on the smart cover...I might check into this! Could you post a photo for us?
