Screeching?

when i iChat or screen share i always hear this screeching sound, its not the other persons because they are fine when im not there..

How can i stop the screeching?

it's feed back coming through the speakers... happens to me a lot.. an easy fix is to just turn ur volume down a couple of notches and it will be much better.. also external speakers help a lot
