Hey guys,

I just bought a new unibody Macbook (YAY), but when i play full screen movies, at the bottom of the screen you can see the light shooting up. Is that worthy of a replacement? Or is that normal on a LED screen?

I just purchased it yesterday, so I can just go exchange it if its neccessary.

It doesn't hurt to go back to get it checked out and ask them for another one. Also, I don't think it's normal for an LED screen as I'm looking at my LED MBP screen and it doesn't have the problem you mention.

The MB screens, especially when not calibrated are prone to light bleeding from the bottom.

Also, the Unibodies prior to the screen update are more prone.
