I dropped my iPhone 3G again, and now it has screen blur, and now the backlight isn't working. I've opened it up and checked the connections and they're all secure. Is it time to replace it, or can anyone else think of a solution?

Hard to say, but something in the screen probably screwed up. I'd say it's time for a replacement.

I think I found the problem. The board on the top end of the LCD is broken in such a way it's like a flap, giving it some connection. I think I'll be a tight-wad and just replace the LCD ;)
