Hello community,
I cannot solve this problem and do not even know where to find an answer. I am solely using my rMBP 15" for photo retouching and I can't tell you have many times I needed to redo my work because the screen brightness was set wrongly. Now, I try to set it to 60% and I hope it stays like this only to find out that it changed when I was half way through the process. It is NOT set to auto adjustment. So why it is changing? It was set to 60% yesterday and today it was again 100%.

Do you know a direct way (eMail) to reach apple support?

Thanks!

There's an option in Energy Saver where it dims the brightness when on battery power only. Have you checked this option is also unticked?

I did uncheck now, but my problem is different. It is becoming 100% brightness.....after I manually set it to 60% even though, as you can see, I do not have auto brightness checked.
