With regards to my woeful battery performance since iOS upgrade...

I tried turning the screen brightness down to about 25%. I normally have it about 50-60%

Yes it's a bit dull, but I noticed that the battery performance was WAY, WAY, WAY better. Went a full 18 hours before it got to 10%, and that was with calls, messages, runkeeper on for an hour. I was totally surprised.

Anybody else care to try this to see if it makes a difference for you?

I'm on a 4S with iOS6, but I suspect the same effect would happen with other models.

.

Yeah it does make a difference on my 4S but not that much that i would keep the brightness to low for comfort.

Yea, I tried it on a lot of my phones with sucess. With the iPhone 5 though, I am noticing a huge difference. I'm talking about talking it off the charger at 6am and having around 50% at 12pm. With moderate to heavy web browsing.

Hmm...

Thanks for your feedback guys...

Perhaps there is some difference in behavior in iOS6 then.

What about Auto Brightness on / off?

Anybody notice any difference?

Looks like we have to nut these problems out ourselves. Apple is very quiet on all this.
