Hi,

I have a new 15" macbook pro. ( http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/features-15inch.html )

My computer was broken similar to the one in this link, the only main difference is that the screen was cracked and I could only read about 1/5 of the screen. Now one of the wires got pulled out and the screen does not work at all.

Can anyone recommend a place to get this repaired? or are there any "write-ups" on how to replace the frame myself?

I guess this is what I get for helping someone out by lending them my macbook. (their little brother bent the screen backwards, breaking the frame and cracking the screen. and they cant afford to fix it at all)

Thanks everyone, techrestore has the best price. Are there any others to consider? , or are they the "go-to" people for this?

Replacing the frame should be a similar process to replacing the screen as demonstrated in this tutorial. Obviously you'll be re-assembling the unit with the new frame, which you could probably find on eBay fairly cheaply.

I saw the link earlier in a search but thanks anyways
