Hello I just got a new iPad mini 4 and I am interested in viewing my home security system on the iPad and I'm wondering if I open one camera and expand to full screen or view multiple cameras for a long period of time if the image will burn into the screen ?

Thanks for your help

Due to the type of screens on the iPads, burn in is practically impossible.

I've left my iPad for a day or two on the same screen and had no adverse effects.

As far as I am aware LCDs like those in the iPads do not suffer by design any sort of burn it.

It'll be fine :)

Does LG make the panels for iPads? If so then screen burn in is possible. If Samsung makes them then you're good.

That sort of 'burn in' eventually happened on my old iPad 2, but that was after many years of use.
