The Land of Milk & Honey
My MBP, bought new in February 2008, has a pretty bad burn in the screen, it's about half an inch thick and 3-4 inches long, very annoying. What is the warranty policy on screens? The screen is never on for more than the length of a full battery charge, and I can't get rid of the burn (tried JScreenFix for 24 hours, no luck).

I'll try and post some pictures later, but I'm at a relatives for thanksgiving and don't have my camera with me...

You're within your warranty. It can be considered a manufacturing defect judging by your description. Take it to an Apple Store.

The nearest Apple store is 2000km away... I'll bring it in to the local place that sells Apple products and see what they say though. I'd love to get a replacement, especially since there are no refurb 2.2's left, so I'd likely get a 2.4 wouldn't I? :D
