screen caps

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place, so incase not, sorry. I'm looking for a good DVD screen capture, I've tried "DVD capture" and "Screen Capture GUI" and they're both great, but they capture the whole screen. Is there something out there that will capture the DVD playback only? I feel like I'm sounding difficult.
