screen capture (cmd+shift+5) not getting sound

Hi All.

I upgraded from Mojave to Catalina, and how when I want to do a screen capture with cmd+shift+5, the capture works, but even with System Audio selected, I cannot get any sound in the capture. With another program I can, but with the built in screen capture I cannot.

Any ideas?

Update. I did find something interesting. In another place (I can't for the life of me remember where) a suggestion was to add another program that records sound. I added Apowersoft streaming audio recorder. When this was done, I could select their driver and get sound, but ONLY when the program was running.
