screen capture software (Mac and Win)

Hi. I'm looking for some good quality screen capture software (both mac and windows).

What are the best ones. Preferably free. I havent got snow leopard yet so don't have QTx.

Cmnd+Shift+3 to capture the whole screen and Cmnd+Shift+4 to select an area of the screen.

I think the OP is referring to taking video of the screen (as you are able to do with QT X), not taking still screenshots.

You can try ScreenFlow ($99), is the best in my opinion.
There are many other alternatives: Snapz Pro X ($69), Jing is a freeware.
