screen capture text messages

there is a rumor going around that in ios7 you will be alerted when someone screen captures your text messages. i just wanted to know if there was any validity to that rumor?

It's a rumor for a reason...because there's no actual information to support it...because it's not true.

There would be ways around this even if they implemented something into the default screenshot function.

My question is why you would be worried about someone taking a screen shot of your texts?

No, it's nonsense.

Maybe it's something to do with someone getting mixed up about the release notes when Snapchat's functionality to alert that a screenshot had been taken was restored in the betas, as it no longer worked the earlier iOS7 betas.

But it's nothing to do with text messages.
