Dear all,

I have been following this forum for quite a while since considering to buy a 12 or 12 Pro, coming from an iPhone X.

Finally, after all your concerns, input, feedback on various subjects I pulled the trigger on the 12 Pro. Beautiful device, I love the size etc etc.

BUT, after just transferring from my X to the 12 Pro I notice the screen colours are different. The colors on the X are deeper, better balanced. The colors on the 12 Pro appear to be too bright, flashy, less contrast, less natural.

I am now sitting in our living room with artificial light and put the settings for brightness, True Tone etc the same on both devices. Whatever I do in settings or brightness, I can't get the 12 Pro to show the same screen experience as the X does.

I have owned iPhones before since 2007 and every time I was positively surprised and happy with the new one. Now the old one looks better (more natural, to me).

Is this a common thing, am I doing something wrong or is something wrong?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
