I'm going to take my iMac to have its backlight/panel replaced/repaired next Monday, since it has a large dark strip across it.
I decided to think of any other issues while I'm at it, that I can ask about - and one of them I've remembered could either be a screen fault, or a bug in OSX
Basically, when I switch back and forth between different wallpapers, a full vertical strip of pixels on the leftmost part of the screen "stick" to the colours that they were previously (so a vertical line of the previous wallpaper).
It goes away if I flit between wallpapers a bit more, but it's a recurring issue.
Is this likely to be a flaw in the pixels of the screen, or has any one else encountered this issue (and knows it to be a software bug)?
