Screen Discoloration for iBook G4

I have had my iBook for about 4 years. Today, when I turned my computer on, the screen turned red. Even after restarting my computer, parts of the screen still have a red discoloration (primarily dark colors have a reddish hue). Even the mouse is a red color. Any suggestions to restore the normal color? Has anyone had the same problem and if so, what did you do about it?

Does it still have the red tinge if you boot into Safe Mode by holding SHIFT at startup? Hopefully it's a software issue and not a loose GPU cable.
