I recently installed snow leopard and the latest iWork software on my mac since when I have been having problems when playing a slideshow in Keynote through a projector.

Basically, the projector and mac work as they should until you come to the point when you Play Slideshow. At this stage the slides are displayed perfectly on the big screen but the image on the computer screen crashes and becomes a mass of 'noise' of jumbled up pixels. You can continue to play the slideshow but then have to use the big projector screen to see what you are doing since the computer screen is now completely illegible. The only way to reset it is to go to System Preferences > Displays and change the resolution which fixes the computer screen image until you wish to Play Slideshow again. However, I don't want to have to keep doing that when making presentations.

Furthermore, this issue doesn't manifest itself if the computer is not attached to the projector.

This never happened when I had Leopard and the older version of Keynote so I can only think it is something to do with the new software I have installed. Any ideas?!

Thanks a lot.
