Hi, I have a new Iphone Xs, updated to the latest software. It works fine, except that sometimes, randomly, I pick it up and the screen does not turn on. I can press any button combination, but the screen does not respond. The phone does though: I can hear faceID unlocking the phone, I can long press main button and siri responds, the mute switch activates vibration, etc.

If I put it back flat on the desk, wait for one minute give or take and pick it up again, it responds fine.

Anyone else having this issue? Do you know of a possible solution? Is my unit defective?

Thanks!

Thanks I saw those threads but it looks like a different problem? My iphone is not unresponsive, it's just the screen that does not turn on for a bit!
