Screen Dumps into Powerpoint

Can someone help with a short cut ?

When doing screen dumps ( shift+apple+3 ). Is there an easy way to insert into powerpoint presentation without doing ( insert, picture etc etc ).

Hold down control as well, to copy the image to the clipboard rather than desktop.
