Screen effects not working on iPhone 5s?

I have been messaging a friend who's running iOS 10 on a 5s, and when I send using effects, she sees the text and then (sent with slam effect) rather than seeing the animation.

I had her check Accessibility>Reduced Motion and its turned off. Is this feature not functional on older phones? Haven't seen anything about hardware limitations on older devices.

Same problem here with my iphone 6 ... I come from the public beta. Since one of the last beta versions, I'm not able to create and see the effects... Today I have restored the phone, but no change.

And the multilingual keyboard doesnt works since one of the last betas.
