Screen fades white when I move it?...

I have a late 09 13" MBP and when I move the screen it fades to white, if it's pushed back more it works but if I move the screen forward it freezes and fades to white? so is this just the LVDS cable needing replaced?

Sounds like you have a loose cable take it to the genius bar before you open it up.

Yeah likely caused by cabling in the hinge. I'd bring it to Apple and have it prepared. Do you typically close the lid of the machine when you are done using it frequently?
