Just wondering if the screen flicker I'm experiencing on my UMB is a good enough reason to take it in to get serviced?

not sure about the new UMB, mines fine and the same specs as you. BUT i know alot of people had problems with that on the white MB. id assume normal wear and tear just make sure you polish out any dings in it so it looks all shiny and they wount think you threw it against a wall to get a new display ;)

I was at an Apple Store and I commented on the display MacBooks' screens flickering after waking from sleep. The sales rep told me that firstly, they shouldn't; and secondly, if a screen flicker ever developed that they would replace it.

Not official, of course, but I would take it in.

Hmm, I assume that they meant that they would replace the display, and not the entire computer correct?:p

Either way, ill be taking it in within a week or so
