So I have a two year old Core Duo Macbook that has behaved relatively flawlessly, except for its screen. I have had it repaired twice due to the infamous screen flicker issue. Today I noticed it doing the same thing again.

What Apple's policy regarding an issue that has occurred this many times? I feel like I have heard that they will replace a machine if it has the same issue 3 times, although that could be completely wrong. I'm just really frustrated because I have to keep bringing it back to the Apple store for the same reason.

There are laws in some states (New York, for instance, has a lemon law - you might want to look at that), but in this case, I would demand a new machine.
