Screen flickers sometimes when opening apps 6 plus

My 6 plus flickers/flashes once or twice sometimes when going into apps. Seems to be random.

Is this a defect or software?

This only happens randomly and not often. Is this scaling or a phone defect?

When it happens once in a while it just flashes/flickers for a millisecond.

I mentioned this brief 'flickering' a while back but nobody else experienced the issue.
It started with 8.1.3 on my 6+ and it only happens occasionally. When I've put my phone down in front of me to eat or something, from time to time I will see the entire homescreen flicker. It does it just the once and it's as quick as the blink of an eye.

Do you think it's hardware defect? It can't be since it doesn't happen often?

I would assume software because I only ever see it when my homescreen is sat there doing nothing and I can't imagine that is anything too taxing, plus it only started doing it after a couple of iOS8 updates. It would be interesting to see if this only affects 6+ users...

I haven't seen that on mine but that doesn"t mean to say that it isn't happening, after all the flicker is so occasional and so brief. It could well be hardware but mine definitely didn't do this pre 8.1.3
