I have a one year old (Late 2012) 27" iMac (i7 / 32GB of RAM / GTX 680mx / 1TB Fusion Drive / OS X 10.9.2) and I have this weird and scary screen glitch. I have no idea what caused it. I've been working on the computer, went to take a shower, and when I came back it was with those intense ghosting and glitch-ing.
My 1 year warranty ends at April 24th. I've already notified them about the problem so it's under the warranty. I live in Israel and we don't have an official Apple store, only resellers, and they don't give a ****. I got my screen replaced for major red ghosting few months ago, which they sent it back to the U.S. where Apple replaced my screen (and forgot to connect the webcam and built-in mic). I had a lot of problems with that Mac since day 1 and they are not willing to replace it for a different one.
What can cause this? Is it the screen? Is it the GPU? Is that a complex repair? Information will be much appreciated.
